Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, onsite, Moses Lake, WA

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  • Monitors the implementation and acquisition of training for personnel.
  • Team member coaching.
  • Supports individual team member goals and department goals.
  • Maintain employee work schedules, monitor attendance and approve employee leave.
  • Work to continuously improve productivity, cost savings, safety and morale to gain positive results in all areas.
  • Plan, organize and control activities of the department including execution of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of department and corporate goals.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to drive continual improvement.
  • Ensure optimal levels of inventory are maintained to meet customer demands while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and goods
  • Analyze market trends, customer demand. patterns, and historical data to forecast future demand accurately.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and favorable terms.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet standards and specifications throughout the supply chain.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as supply chain disruptions, geopolitical issues, or natural disasters.
  • Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
  • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required.  It is the employee’s commitment to ensure that the Company’s actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year degree in Supply Chain, Business or Data Analytics preferred or equivalent work experience, high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams
  • Assertive, self-starter that sets initiative and goals
  • Analytical skills using data and common tools to achieve result
  • Understanding and application of problem-solving methods, tools and demonstrated skill
  • Detail oriented, highly accurate with resourceful without-of-box thinking and results oriented
  • Work effectively independently and as part of a dynamic/collaborative team. Customer service, work through others, teamwork and high preference for collaboration & partnership
  • Effective time manager with high organization, prioritize and balance competing priorities. Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications, including presentation skills, in English
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office Suite, including Access & Visio, and Project Management techniques (PMI), RCA/CAPA/8D and systems
  • Ability to travel (All US States & International)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Warehouse Management, Purchasing/Materials, Inventory Management and/or Logistics experience
  • LEAN, Six Sigma Greenbelt
  • Lead Audit certified, preferably ISO9001:2015 or high supplier audit experience
  • Project management certification (PMP)

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $100K-$150K.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are generally performed indoors in an office and high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. When working in the presence of safety hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protective equipment such as: hardhat, safety glasses and full leather shoes, etc. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc.
