About the Role & Your Impact

You’ll be joining an early team and have the unique opportunity to work on greenfield projects with a stellar team. You’ll work directly with the Head of Engineering to develop our next-generation product: building an Android app from the ground up, automating system-design pipelines, quoting tools, and integrating services to create exciting applications that enable millions of homeowners to optimize energy efficiency and savings and improve the comfort of their homes. 

What You Bring 

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience with an emphasis on backend development
• A polyglot with substantial backend experience (our stack is python, vue, postgres)
• Experience with one or more cloud technologies (eg. GCP, AWS, Azure) and deployment infrastructure (CI/CD, containerization, scalability, serverless)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Passion for the problem we are working to solve

• Experience working with a mobile app team
• Ability to perform and thrive in a remote environment at a fast-growing startup
• Adept at navigating ambiguity and complexity
• Strong math background or practical data science experience
   

Total Compensation & Benefits

This candidate lives within 50 miles of Denver, CO (or is willing to relocate with assistance). The expected compensation range is between $140,000-$165,000 plus meaningful equity depending on qualifications.
