SUNDAY Bus Washer and Detailer - Canby Area Transit
Are you committed to providing the highest levels of quality service? If so, Canby Area Transit wants you! The Part-Time Vehicle Washer performs vehicle cleaning and detailing under the supervision of the General Manager

Vehicle Attendant & Washer major responsibilities:
  • Scrub and wash equipment exterior of all equipment.
  • Monitors the availability of needed supplies and report needed items.
  • Wipes interior and exterior and the glass of washed vehicles to remove any residual dirt, grease, or film.
  • Sweeps and mops floors of buses.
  • May vacuum and clean vehicle interior and upholstery.
  • Strictly observe safety and environmental practices relating to the bus washing 
  • The above duties are not meant to restrict initiative, but rather to define minimum activities. These duties may be altered to suit the needs of the company as needed.
Vehicle Attendant & Washer requirements:
  • Employees must be able to work ALL SUNDAYS as equipment is available to be cleaned and detailed on Sundays only.
  • Must be over 21 for insurance purposes.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and three+ years driving experience.
  • Must be self motivated and directed; able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
