What you’ll be doing:
- Drive forward Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse / supply chain management
- Set strategic direction for how to grow Beam’s operations in a healthy manner
- Identify key operational metrics and manage a tight ship
- Innovate constantly on existing processes and products
- Manage team of Operations Specialists and Marshals to support the operations
- Cultivate and mentor your team for optimal performance
- Collaborate cross functionally (strategy, marketing, policy) to ensure smooth business operations
- Analyse and implement workflows and processes
- Review procedures and address any deviations from the standards
Requirements
- Experience in transport / logistics is not necessary, but willingness to learn and get into the weeds of the business is critical
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years experience in management consulting, finance, or fast growing startup
- Experience with people management
- Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience
- Highly analytical and creative problem solver, product driven mindset
- Self starter - you’ll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business and this is a great position to fast track your startup career
- Strong Excel skills / SQL knowledge a bonus
Location: Auckland
Reporting to: Operations Manager / Head of Operations
Salary: NZD 66,500 - NZD 80,000 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
