Mission statement:

As the Operations manager at Hitachi Energy (Thailand) Limited, you will be responsible for leading & driving the functions of production & testing, planning & procurement, facility maintenance & warehouse management of the Capacitors & Filters manufacturing unit within Hitachi Energy (Thailand) Bangpoo Factory. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and operate based on an SQDIC framework (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost).

Your responsibilities:

  • You will drive excellence within unit for HSE (Health Safety Environment) performance.

  • You will drive execution of operations functions of production & testing, facility maintenance, planning, procurement & warehouse management.

  • You will implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in quality and enhance productivity.

  • You will optimize inventory levels and manage material processes from forecasting to material consumption and collaborate with the management team to align operations with overall company strategic goals ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • You will lead and motivate a high-performing team in operations and identify areas for enhancement, formulate compelling cases for change, and oversee implementation of modifications to boost speed, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • You will lead cross-functional improvement projects including CAPEX procurement & 1] missioning to drive business growth, quality & continuous improvement, optimize resource allocation for maximum operational efficiency.

  • You will be leading the transfer of products and implementation of new upcoming product launches.

  • You will guide and support cross functional teams to ensure individual and collective success.

Your responsibilities:

  • You hold bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical/industrial engineering or related field and master's degree would be a plus.

  • Overall, more than 15 years of experience with minimum of 3 years of experience in Operations Management in a global manufacturing company.

  • Proficient leadership skills and significant experience in change / transformation management,

  • In-depth knowledge of process optimization and implementing sustainable improvements using lean six sigma techniques.

  • Functional knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) is preferred.

  • Analytical and structured mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in English language.
