We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer strive to deliver highly performant and highly scalable system integration solutions.  You should be passionate and enjoy solving complex system problems in a fast-paced, collaborative, inclusive, and iterative delivery environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing, monitoring, and making improvements to our engineering infrastructure services responsible for automated builds to drive troubleshooting and resolutions.

  • Collaborating with software development, build and IT teams to proactively identify process improvements and building full solutions enhance overall engineering productivity.

  • Contributing to scaling Engineering Infrastructure to support growth.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering/Computer Science related field.

  • 7+ years of experience 

  • 5+ years of experience scripting and fluency in BASH and Python

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • Knowledge of cloud computing platform AWS is a must.

  • Experience with GitOps and GitLab with its runners

  • Experience with Networking, and OpenSSH understanding

  • Type 1 hypervisor expertise: Proxmox, Xen-Server, etc

  • Strong knowledge of Linux Ubuntu, Apache, NginX, Network, Build Automation Systems, and Continuous Integration systems like Jenkins, GNU Make, Jira, and Git (GitLab). 

  • Good understanding of Linux systems and package managers.

  • Proficiency in scripting BASH and Python for automation.

  • Good understanding of infrastructure at the server, VM, Storage, Networking, and container (Docker)

  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to manage complex process and technology issues.

  • Teamwork mindset and mentoring junior team members.

  • Experience in monitoring enhancements and metrics dashboarding using tools such as Grafana, Spunk, Prometheus.

  • Working experience in HAProxy, load balancers, LDAP/SSO integration, security endpoint configurations.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with ability to work in a dynamic and global team.

  • A desire to continuously grow and learn new things.

 

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

 

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$154,000—$211,750 USD
