Collaborate with carbon removal suppliers to understand their processes and support customer needs.</p></li><li><p style="">Develop and refine MRV protocols to address net negativity, durability, uncertainty, and additionality in biomass-based carbon removal. Design leakage mitigation frameworks and streamline compliance evaluations with verification and technology teams.</p></li><li><p style="">Engage with academia, national labs and industry partners to stay informed about sustainable biomass research and technology development.</p></li></ul><p style=""></p><h2>Things we’re looking for:</h2><ul style=""><li><p style="">A PhD degree in environmental science, forestry, agriculture, agro-economics, or a related field. Highly qualified applicants with a Master's degree will be considered.</p></li><li><p style="">An interdisciplinary technical background in forestry, land use change or biomass sustainability. Experience analyzing biomass supply chains. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards governing biomass use is benefitial.</p></li><li><p style="">A collaborative spirit, a solution-oriented mindset and a track record of delivering innovative and robust solutions in response to complex technical problems.</p></li></ul><p style=""></p><h2>This role isn’t for you if:</h2><ul style=""><li><p style="">You want a remote job.
