To continue and expand our work, we are seeking a passionate Volunteer Fundraising Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled volunteer with potentially a background in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations to help us secure funding for our programs. As a Volunteer Fundraising Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying potential donors, developing fundraising strategies, and crafting compelling grant proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and Identify Funding Opportunities: Identify and prioritise potential funding sources, including grants, corporate partnerships, and individual donors.
- Develop Fundraising Strategies: Collaborate with our team to create and implement effective fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Grant Writing: Prepare and submit grant proposals, including drafting narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.
- Donor Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with donors and partners.
- Reporting: Track and report on fundraising progress, including metrics and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations is preferred but not obligatory.
- Skills: Strong writing, communication, and research skills.
- Passion: A genuine interest in our mission and a commitment to making a difference.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
