Sustainability & Climate Change Managing Consultant (Senior Level)

As a Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consultation on Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CS&CC) services to build a sustainable business locally, while networking with ERM's global CS&CC technical team to build new opportunities or share best practices across the South & East Asia region.

The ideal candidate will support and contribute to growing ERM key client accounts such as chemical and power sectors and others in a wide range of technical services related to corporate sustainability, climate change and circular economy.

DESCRIPTION OF CS&CC SERVICES:

• Climate strategy project development and implementation including low carbon economy transitions, GHG emissions reduction actions and plans, climate and net zero strategies, Science-Based Targets (SBT), climate-related financial risks and opportunity assessment, scenario analysis, mitigation and adaptation strategies, carbon credit project, etc.
• Development of EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) in various international and domestic standards   
• Development of corporate sustainability program such as sustainability strategy, human rights due diligence process, CSR strategy, sustainable supply chain management, circular economy program, etc.
• Technical assistance on GHG WRI/IPCC Protocol and Guidance, Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability reporting utilizing Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, SET reporting guidelines, SDG and other industry-specific tools.
• Assistance in response to sustainability indices, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (S&P CSA), Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI), CDP, etc.
• Development of corporate sustainability reports and others in both Thai and English, including writing, editing and proofreading content.
• Assessment of business programs for social needs by measuring and valuing business broader societal impacts using concepts such as Social / Environmental Return on Investment, Natural Capital Protocol, Creating Shared Value, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide CS&CC consultancy services to key client accounts in ERM focus sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Food&Beverage, Bank, Chemical, Technology, Manufacturing, Retail and Finance, maintain client relations, and manage several projects under tight deadlines
• Support for the development of new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and contribute to the development of new business with new and existing clients as well as client relationships that generate repeat business.
• Conduct training and facilitate workshops to both internal and external clients in the area of CS&CC services.
• Support the general growth and development of ERM’s global CS&CC services. Collaborate with other ERM global practitioners to execute projects, including participating on teams comprised of CS&CC professionals from multiple offices around the global organization.
• Develop a working understanding of ERM’s other consulting service areas and support other services as required.
• Support internal management responsibilities of ERM including: planning and budgeting, mentoring junior team members, and interfacing with other practice areas and project teams within ERM.
