Based in <b>Melbourne</b>, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to support the implementation of the transfer pricing policies and procedures in accordance with the Group Tax Risk Management policy and the Group Tax Policy. This is a full time, fixed term position for <b>12 months</b>.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Key Responsibilities include:</span></b></p><ul><li>Assist with transfer pricing requests and information analysis</li><li>Assist with the preparation of alincome tax compliance (income tax returns and tax effect accounting) obligations for entities in the ANZ Division; </li><li>Ensure Group Tax reporting is timely and accurate</li><li>Assist with any other ad hoc tax queries as required including responding to queries from revenue authorities.</li><li>Monitor and adhere to ANZ and Corporate policies, procedures, systems and controls for processes.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>About You</span></b><br><b><span>Suitable applicants will be/have:</span></b></p><ul><li>4+ years’ experience in a similar role within a corporate environment with exposure to tax accounting</li><li>Working knowledge of tax accounting procedures and strong financial administration skills</li><li>Establish strong business relationships within a group environment and beyond to ensure efficient delivery of outputs</li><li>Ability to produce quality outcomes within an environment with competing demands and tight deadlines whilst dealing with sensitive and confidential information<br><br> </li></ul><p>In return, SMEC offers you the benefits that come from working in a global multidisciplinary consultancy in an environment where your fresh ideas and enthusiasm will be welcomed and rewarded.<br><br><b><span>Link to benefits: </span></b><span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">http://www.smec.com/en_au/careers/your-career-with-SMEC</span><br><br><br><b><span>How to Apply</span></b><br><br>All applications must be submitted online.
