About the role

Reporting to the General Manager Growth Aliaxis APAC, you will play a pivotal role in building a strong pipeline of innovative new product development projects, as well as driving world class innovation processes within a global leader in the water industry. You will project manage complex new product and innovation projects by providing strong leadership, whilst influencing and collaborating with key project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. As an innovation professional, you will build the innovation culture by driving the innovation systems and processes our teams utilise to deliver new products to market.

What will you do? 

• Lead, contribute and deliver on our strategic innovation pipeline
• Build our strategic new product development pipeline by engaging with our end users and use your design thinking skills to understand their needs and collaborate with our product development and marketing teams to deliver new products.
• Project Manage complex new innovation and new product projects from ideation through to launch.
• Assist in building a culture of innovation excellence through the introduction and full adoption of world class innovation processes

About you 

• 7-10 years’ experience working as an Innovation Manager, Project Manager, Product Designer or similar position.
• Demonstrated success in project managing the delivery of complex new product projects. 
• Strong ability to build relationships, collaborate with and influence others.
• Excellent communication skills with strong commercial acumen, adept at engaging with both executives and front line customers.
• Curious by nature with advanced problem solving skills and a strong desire to improve on the status quo by doing things differently 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, Business Management or similar.
