Are you ready to save the planet?
We will help prevent a climate crisis by freeing the world from fossil fuels. Our breakthrough direct air capture technology captures CO2 from the atmosphere and produces hydrogen in parallel.

The clock is ticking. What are you waiting for? How you'll contribute
You'll play a crucial role in our Hardware Engineering team, implementing groundbreaking products and good design practice to how we streamline how we assemble and test these products.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop parts and assemblies of the absorption and desorption units for our next generation DAC plants according to industry norms.
  • Choose process components such as sensors, valves, pumps and vessels according to requirements.
  • Translate P&ID subsystems into 3D CAD designs.
  • Create floor plans of our next generation DAC plants.
  • Design piping infrastructure according to industry norms (e.g. Pressure Equipment Directive, Operational Safety Ordinance and Federal Emission Control Act)
  • Rapidly iterate on process optimization and development testing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure hardware integrates with the DAC plant and supports necessary process operations.

Here's what the first 12 months in the role could look like:

Months 0-3: Your initial focus will be on creating parts and assemblies of sub-units of our plants. You will translate assembly BOM’s into floor plans and design concepts. You'll connect and integrate components (e.g. pumps, valves, sensors) to ensure synchronization.

Months 3-6: You own the design of sub-assemblies and test stands and create 3D CAD models, reflecting assembly, maintenance, and operating principles in line with plant engineering standards. The documentation of your work ensures a flawless hand-over to fabrication.

Months 6-12: During this phase you’ll take over technical responsibility of our DAC units absorption and desorption. You'll have the technical lead in your part of commercial projects. About you
