Program Manager

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Program Manager to join our Mid-West OSS Management team.

This highly motivated individual will be responsible for profitability, safety compliance, leadership, sustainability and day-to-day operations. In taking this opportunity you will become well rounded in many facets of our business. In this role you will be responsible for all facets of OSS and delivery, ensuring operations in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

This position reports to the Operations Manager. This role is based on site at client locations in the Germantown, WI area. You will report out of our Chicago, IL.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Participate in TEI’s safety and compliance programs including TEI’s Behavior Safety program.
  • Be the onsite, operational, and customer point of contact for Triumvirate.
  • Manage a large RCRA program at a premiere CMO
  • Work closely with many individuals in many different departments to achieve sustainability, cost, and compliance goals
  • Work with operators and scientist to make accurate waste determinations
  • Drive compliance through CAA and SAA inspection program
  • Inspect and pick up hazardous waste and other regulated waste from labs to central accumulation areas.
  • Manage the compliance and operations in a several high throughout CAAs
  • Manage RCRA and DOT records including manifests, LDRs, profiles, and inspection records
  • Work in a dynamic team to make waste determination, hazardous waste profiles and schedule waste shipments
  • Manage a hazardous waste tank farm and shipment schedule.
  • Track waste and sustainability metrics to present to leadership.
  • Prepare and participate in environmental and sustainability business reviews to track progress on various environmental, sustainability, and service based KPIs.
  • Ensure all TEI internal safety documents (HASP, compliance letters, SOPs, etc.) are up to date and followed properly. Ensure necessary client alignments are documented in local procedures.
  • Maintain and update training documentation and checklists on sites, revising as appropriate and necessary.

 

 Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or other related majors, or equivalent
  • Prior knowledge, experience, and compliance with DOT, RCRA, and other applicable regulations
  • Excited about bringing new environmental and sustainability options to our customers
  • Dedicated to WOWing TEI employees and Customers
  • Successful completion of OSHA/DOT physical examination
  • Proficient in Wasteland and ADVISE
  • 1 year of team leadership experience

Preferred Requirements:

  • Emergency Response experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Completion of Environmental Specialist advancement program
  • 2+ years’ experience in the environmental services/hazardous waste industry
