CDL Driver Needed for Canby Area Transit
Transdev Drivers provide transportation via Canby Area Transit within our local communities. Each day our drivers transport individuals who rely on our service to doctors’ appointments, work, grocery stores, as well as fixed route services. You’ll be responsible for:
- Safely transporting passengers in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area
- Assisting in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scooters
We want you to drive with us, if you:
- Are at least 21 years old
- Have a valid CDL B license with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsement
- Have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
- Have excellent verbal communication & customer service skills
- Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
Shift assignments would be approximately 35 hours per week and include Driving Tuesday through Friday as well as working ALL Saturdays.
There is a strong possibility of extra hours and additional work being available if you have some flexibility with your availability. It is also likely that Full-Time openings will become available in the future.
