As a Field Operations Supervisor Co-Op, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our robotic systems operate flawlessly and help transform farming practices. As a Field Operations Supervisor at Aigen, you will be the driving force behind the successful deployment of our robotic workforce. Your role involves recruiting and leading a team of Robot Operators, ensuring their safety and technical proficiency in the field, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to Head of Field Ops/Eng
  • Recruit, interview, and hire robot operator staff
  • Lead team of Robot Operators in field deployment (12 robot operators)
  • Promote a collaborative and fun work environment
  • Monitor health and safety of employees in field
  • Set employee schedules/PTO/Time off
  • Communicate with engineering staff on technical issues in field
  • Technical resource to help engineering staff in emergencies
  • Create/lead trainings for Communications, ERP, Safety, etc.
  • Daily/Weekly report out for teams
  • Assist in design/build out of field office/warehouse

Requirements

  • Strong leadership background: Preferably college engineering student/graduate or Ag business degree
  • Drivers license
  • Strong communication skills are key for this position
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledge of farming is a huge plus
  • Willingness to work outside 12 hours a day (3-4 day work week alternating)
