This role will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant handling of raw materials, components, and finished products, while supporting smooth production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a background in manufacturing or automotive supply chains, and familiarity with hazardous material handling. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping of materials and finished goods. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to lithium-ion batteries and hazardous materials (e.g., DOT, OSHA, EPA). </li></ul><ul><li>Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and traceability of materials. </li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to support just-in-time manufacturing and on-time delivery. </li></ul><ul><li>Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. </li></ul><ul><li>Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and material handling equipment to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. </li></ul><ul><li>Support Free Trade Zone (FTZ) and import/export compliance activities as applicable. </li></ul><ul><li>Track and report KPIs related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, safety, and productivity. </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. </li></ul><ul><li>5+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience, ideally in manufacturing or automotive industries. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS). </li></ul><ul><li>Experience handling hazardous materials and dangerous goods certifications (preferred). </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. </li></ul> <div><div>Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
