Test Center Supervisor

This position is for the Supervisor for the GEA New Food Application & Technology Center of Excellence, located in Janesville, WI. This position will have direct reports of a quantity still TBD. The position is a working role, where the individual will be conducting the experimental trials and laboratory support work in parallel with managing the others supporting.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Lead a dedicated team of test engineers and lab technicians, driving enthusiasm and excellence.
• Interface directly with customers during Technology Transfer for seamless communication.
• Conduct innovative laboratory and pilot experiments to advance biotechnological solutions.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive final reports, showcasing impactful results.
• Collaborate with pre-sale and project execution teams to scale up cutting-edge technologies.
• Manage all test center activities, ensuring efficiency in logistics, quality, health, safety, and scheduling.
• Foster collaboration with GEA New Food Business Line and International GEA Test Centers for global synergy and success.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills

• Life Science background, preferably with expertise in biotechnology applications.
• Supervisory experience with a track record of team leadership.
• Preferably skilled in microbiology or similar laboratory environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Customer-centric approach to meet and exceed client expectations.
