<h2>Overview</h2>We are designing the grid of the future!  We are looking for a strategic CFO who will partner with the executive team to lead our finance and accounting department towards global growth.  As a key member of the executive team, you will be essential in driving financial excellence in a world-class consulting and software organization within the energy sector. <h2>Responsibilities</h2>How you can make an impact:<ul> <li>Strategic partnership:  Be an integral part of the executive team to deliver the vision and strategy to drive innovation and excellence in technology driven energy transition.</li> <li>Accounting Systems and Practices: Establish, monitor, enhance accounting systems. Enforce best accounting practices and internal controls, utilizing GAAP.</li> <li>Financial Planning: Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to optimize business operations and maximize profitability, manage risk and identify strategic opportunities for revenue growth and efficiencies.  </li> <li>Reporting &amp; Communication: Lead in the preparation and communication of all financial statements and filings with internal and external stakeholders, including the board. </li> <li>Tax &amp; Treasury: Manage filing and compliance for all foreign and domestic tax requirements. Oversee cash-related activities and drive the most efficient use of working capital while managing cash flow risk.</li> <li>Strategic Growth and M&amp;A: Partner with our Chief Growth Officer to drive and execute on growth through strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and global expansion.</li> <li>Team Leadership: Lead and grow a high-performing global finance and accounting team to execute on the company's business goals and financial objectives</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2>Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:<ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, MBA, and a CPA or equivalent preferred </li> <li>10+ years as a senior leader building a high performing finance organization. with 5 or more years in a CFO role. </li> <li>Prior experience with a PE-backed firm.</li> <li>Prior leadership experience in a global consulting or professional services firm</li> <li>Experience in an early-stage SaaS products.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in capital management, fundraising, M&amp;A activities, and global expansion.</li> <li>Experience managing and directing the implementation of an ERP system.</li> <li>Passion for knowledge and a propensity towards curiosity.</li></ul> Lead the change!  Be a part of an innovative team shaping the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence.  For more than half a century, Electric Power Engineers (EPE) has partnered with power and energy clients across the globe providing consulting expertise and energy intelligence software solutions for complex engineering and grid modeling challenges.
