Our diverse and skilled teams are engaged in major projects across Transport, Water, Energy and renewables sectors.<br><br><b><span>The Role</span></b><br><br>We have an opportunity for a <b>Workplace<span> Administrator – Operations Support </span></b><span>to join our<b> Gold Coast </b>Office. </span>This full-time, permanent role will be responsible for <span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">providing comprehensive,</span> well-organised professional office support, encompassing all aspects of office operations and administration.</p><p></p><p>This position promotes a workplace culture that prioritises clients and employee health and wellbeing, fostering an engaging and enjoyable workplace environment.</p><p><br><b><span>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</span></b></p><ul><li>Maintain high-quality service for shared areas, meeting rooms, and office facilities, addressing issues promptly.</li><li>Coordinate with IT to ensure effective operation of meeting rooms and resolve issues.</li><li>Offer proactive support to managers and clients, and organize new employee inductions.</li><li>Support compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment ISO standards.</li><li>Manage office facilities and assets, including registers and processes.</li><li>Handle catering, refreshments, and communication requests efficiently.</li><li>Assist with event logistics such as booking spaces, catering, and AV equipment.</li><li>Promote employee engagement, inclusivity, and continuous improvement, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.</li></ul><p><br><b><span>About You</span></b><br><b><span>Suitable applicants will be/have:</span></b></p><ul><li>Good verbal and written communication skills;</li><li>A polite and professional approach to stakeholders at all levels;</li><li>Solid organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail;</li><li>Ability to take initiative &amp; work with minimal guidance;</li><li>Basic MS Office skills;</li><li>A proactive and solutions-driven approach to work.</li></ul><p><br>In return, SMEC offers you the benefits that come from working in a global multidisciplinary consultancy in an environment where your fresh ideas and enthusiasm will be welcomed and rewarded.<br><b><span>Link to benefits: </span></b><span style="display:inline;text-decoration:inherit;">http://www.smec.com/en_au/careers/your-career-with-SMEC</span><br><br><b><span>How to Apply</span></b><br><br>All applications must be submitted online.
