Reporting to the Head of Northern Europe Origination, the PPA Originator will:
Develop Nadara’s position in the market by identifying and cultivating Off-take opportunities.
Establish external relationships with C&I end users, Utilities, Public Sector entities etc.
Formulate tangible contract solutions across various markets and lead on contract creation and structures.
Lead internal / external PPA tendering opportunities and collaborate on PPA deal structuring and negotiation to ensure the development of investable and bankable PPAs, culminating in contract execution.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across departments, including Finance, Legal, Development, and Technical teams.
Conduct workshops and meetings to facilitate market development and capitalize on opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, engineering, or a related field
+3 years experience in power origination role / energy markets.
Excellent knowledge of energy market dynamics, key stakeholders, risks and risk management principles, and standard products
Experience in contract negotiations of PPA’s, Route to Market contracts, and renewable certificates (ROCs, REGO, GOs) sales.
Strong analytical abilities and a keen commercial acumen
Customer-centric approach to business with excellent networking and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian is a plus.
A collaborative and supportive attitude towards colleagues, with a strong emphasis on teamwork
