Role Summary
As Content Manager (all genders), you will be responsible for the development and management of all content on the German ProVeg website. You will create high-quality and appealing content on plant-based nutrition for various target groups and make it visible through targeted publications. You will also manage and send out the B2C newsletter, delivering relevant news and tailored calls to action to the community. In close cooperation with the specialist departments, you will ensure consistent external communication for the organisation.

With your linguistic sensitivity, your strong communication skills and your in-depth understanding of the strategic direction, you will strengthen the external perception of ProVeg as a go-to organisation for all topics relating to the transformation of our food system towards more plant-based and cultivated foods. Location: Berlin or remote Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the content management of the new German ProVeg website in close coordination with the web team (launch in progress), including content updates and SEO 
  • You will create high-quality texts about plant-based nutrition and the work of ProVeg, including website articles, blog posts and the annual impact report. You will develop content both independently and in collaboration with the various specialist departments.
  • You will design and send out the German B2C newsletter.
  • You will be responsible for KPI tracking and analysing website and newsletter performance in order to identify data-based optimisation measures.
Qualifications
  • Strong sense of language and tone and strong communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in writing online and print texts and the ability to express complex issues in simple language.
  • Proactive, results-orientated and structured way of working.
  • Confident use of the WordPress content management system and the Mailchimp newsletter programme an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German (native speaker level).
  • You embody the values of the communications team (empathy, reliability, appreciation, pragmatism and fun) and actively promote cohesion as a team.
  • Experience in writing SEO-optimised texts.
  • Creative mind, with the ability to develop interesting ideas for new content around plant-based nutrition and implement them independently.
