This position requires a Class DZ license.

As a Canadian Energy Driver, a typical week will include the following:

  • Driving.  You’ll be responsible for regular delivery routes in an ultramodern Canadian Energy delivery truck. Class 5 license required. The ideal candidate would be comfortable driving in city traffic as well as driving on the highway. 
  • Routes. Your regular routes will include routes in Calgary and the surrounding area. 
  • Sales and Customer Service. You’ll interact and build rapport with Canadian Energy customers during deliveries. You'll help expand Canadian Energy sales by promoting products and helping Canadian Energy customers find the product that is best for their needs.  
  • Shipping and Receiving. You’ll confirm delivery routes and addresses. Perform checks to ensure all scheduled deliveries have been included in your current load. Maintain accurate trip logs and vehicle inspections. Load and unload trucks/trailers. 
  • Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7am to 4pm.

Requirements:

  • Class DZ Driver’s License.
  • 1-3 years professional driving experience. 
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to keep accurate trip expense logs.  
  • A safety focused mindset. 
  • Clean personal and/or commercial driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Able to consistently and safely lift 20kg. 


Nice to Have: 

  • Fork Lift Certification.
  • B2B sales experience. 
  • Warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment experience.
