Skeleton's Engineering department is looking for a driven

Mechanical Engineer


with the vision to match our ambition.

Within your position you will be dealing with the following topics:

  • Create deliverables and perform activities according to development process.
  • Understand and ensure the fulfillment of customer requirements with design solutions.
  • Study standards and requirements to assess their applicability to project or products. Document the results.
  • Participate in product design/process risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Build prototypes and perform testing to validate design solutions.
  • Communicate with component suppliers, external consultants, and companies to find suitable solutions.
  • Support project management in customer discussions.
  • Co-operate with procurement team to ensure that design meets target cost.
  • Keep up to date with company processes and their updates.

Requirements

  • University degree in mechanical engineering and at least two years' experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience and efficiency in 3D modeling software SolidWorks.
  • Experience prototyping and building (can use tools, hands-on tasks).
  • Ability to read and research standards.
  • Analytical ability to solve problems in general.
  • Good self-management and willingness to face challenges.
  • You are a great communicator in English, both orally and in writing, to keep your workflow moving.
  • Independent and resourceful.
  • Energetic and self-driven personality.

Additional skills and experiences we would highly value:

  • Experience with envisioning and creating new designs.
  • Experience with designing electrical devices.
  • Experience with requirements' engineering.
  • Previous work experience from engineering companies with relation to either Automotive industry / Electrical industry / Engineering.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of electrical parameters relevant to energy storage modules.
  • Experience with relevant standards
