Responsibilities / Tasks
Preparation and submission of VAT returns
Preparation and submission of Intrastat reporting
VAT accounts reconciliation
Cooperation in the audit activities
Contacts with Tax Authorities
Cooperation with a shared service center in the field of invoice transfer, coding and posting
Verification of the correctness of cost invoices, their completeness, control of timely and correct settlement and accounting of documents, in accordance with tax rules
Supporting all aspects of GL monthly/quarterly/annual close activities
Your Profile / Qualifications
Bachelor’s / master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is necessary
Experience required - 3 / 4 years practice or industry, mainly focused in VAT and Intrastat
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Knowledge of VAT regulations
Fluent in spoken and written English – knowledge of other languages
Experienced in working in the SSC
Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel (reporting, data analysis, etc.)
Ability to work as a part of a team
Disciplined and well organized - able to meet deadlines
Experienced in working in an international environment
Advanced skills in Excel are a must
