Repsol is seeking a Maintenance Engineering intern to support the Maintenance Engineering Team within the Marcellus Business Unit.
- Internship will be based out of our field office in Horseheads, New York, Monday-Friday, 40 hrs./week for 12 weeks.
- The internship will begin on Monday May 19 and conclude on Friday August 8. (Must be available for the full program period)
- Interns receive a competitive hourly salary based on the degree in process as of May 2025.

Job Description: The successful candidate will be assigned a project within an area of interest to be supervised by a senior member of the Maintenance Engineering Team, collaborating as follows:
- Support Repsol’s CIMS Integrity Software Pilot development in MBU.
- Data gathering, transferring, auditing of load templates for static equipment and pipelines.
- Provide support with linking of maintenance databases.
- Assist with Root Cause Analysis on failed, degraded or problematic equipment or processes.
- Specific tasks could include other integrity or maintenance engineering support such as: SAP load template development for piping circuits, annual CP survey data trending, and PSV data trending.
- As part of your summer experience, you will also have the opportunity for field visits to witness integrity activities and support improvement of job plans (inline inspections, CP surveys, NDT inspections of vessels, tanks, piping).
Requirements for Consideration:
- Fully authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Additionally, we are not authorized for employment under OPT/CPT/F1 visa programs.
- Undergrad (or higher) Engineering degree in process, preferably within Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering. Students with an expected graduation 2026-2027 are encouraged to apply (juniors or sophomores). Masters and Ph.D. students may also be considered.
- Must have cumulative and major GPA of 3.3 or higher, to be confirmed with transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable)
- Must be available for a continuous 12-week period for the duration of the 2025 summer intern program, starting May 19th and ending on August 8th.
- Preference for candidates with prior internship experience, ideally within oil & gas but not required.

Required Location, Schedule, & Availability:
- Position will be supported onsite, M-F, non-exempt (hourly) 40 hrs. per week, at our field office in Horseheads, NY.
- Non-local candidates may be considered provided they meet the required qualifications as listed above and understand they are responsible for any travel to/from Horseheads and summer housing.
- Candidates must be available for the duration of the summer intern program beginning on May 19 and through Aug 8.
Wage: Engineering Interns are paid an hourly wage based on the degree in process (at the conclusion of the Spring 2025 semester) as follows:
- Undergrad = $32/hr.
- Masters = $42/hr.
- Doctorate = $48/hr.
