As a Sales Competency & Development Intern, you will assist the Competency and Development Manager for the US Front End Sales Team. You will use professional communication, critical thinking, and time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales training and development, focusing on enhancing selling skills and sales competencies. The ideal candidate will support the design, implementation, and evaluation of sales training programs and initiatives.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for training programs, including scheduling, coordinating logistics, and maintaining training records.
  • Assist in Training Program Development: Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to develop and update sales training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis: Help identify training needs by analyzing sales performance data and gathering feedback from sales teams via surveys and live interviews.
  • Facilitate Training Sessions: Support the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and webinars with emphasis on participant experience.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assist in assessing the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Sales Skills Development: Work closely with mentor to provide coaching and feedback on selling skills and soft skills.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for sales training programs, including case studies, role-playing scenarios, and interactive exercises.
  • Innovation: Contribute to sales training programs by bringing unique and creative ideas that compliment current industry trends and best practices.

Your Background:

  • Rising junior or senior obtaining their bachelor’s degree in related field OR master’s student with one year left before graduating
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong interest in sales, training, and development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good conceptual and analytical thinking with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-driven and a proven problem-solver
  • Ability to multi-task and work across cultures.
  • Effective working within a team
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Gain practical experience in sales training and development.
