Crusoe Cloud is a managed cloud services platform powered by stranded energy that enables climate-friendly innovation in computationally intensive fields including artificial intelligence, graphics rendering and computational biology.</p><p style=""></p><p style=""><strong>About This Role:</strong></p><p style="">You will be responsible for the operational integrity and daily operations of Crusoe Cloud mission critical Modular Data Centers. This includes mechanical and electrical system monitoring, troubleshooting, minor maintenance AND first level response for customer infrastructure and server troubleshooting upon written instructions.</p><p style=""><br></p><p style=""><strong>A Day In The Life:</strong></p><ul style=""><li><p style="">Monitor Data Center operations</p></li><li><p style="">Monitor HVAC operation</p></li><li><p style="">Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance</p></li><li><p style="">Perform or schedule contractors for monthly and annual preventative maintenance</p></li><li><p style="">Provide proper notification of upcoming maintenance activities, coordinate with appropriate departments</p></li><li><p style="">Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or after hours</p></li><li><p style="">Utilize logic to analyze and solve problems</p></li><li><p style="">Identify and repair data center problems quickly</p></li><li><p style="">Manage contractor services ensuring quality work product</p></li><li><p style="">Assist in technical writing of standard operating procedures and maintenance procedures</p></li><li><p style="">On-Call for operational alerts.</p></li><li><p style="">Troubleshoot fiber network infrastructure</p><p style=""></p></li></ul><p style=""><strong>You Will Thrive In This Role If:</strong></p><ul style=""><li><p style="">Proficient understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including, but not limited to the following: electrical distribution and layout, Transformers, PLC’s, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, STS’, ATS’, PDU’s, Chilled Water Systems, HVAC systems, Fire Suppression Systems</p></li><li><p style="">Proficient knowledge and experienced with data trending / tracking and analysis and ability to rapidly learn and use PC based, integrated critical monitoring systems</p></li><li><p style="">Expert knowledge in industrial safety best practices (lockout/tag out, arc flash protection, OSHA and state regulations)</p></li><li><p style="">Experience working on oil &amp; gas drilling sites is a major plus.</p></li><li><p style="">Strong hands-on technical background with experience on computer and network gear, and support infrastructure (HVAC systems, electrical systems, etc.)</p></li><li><p style="">Proficient network and IT infrastructure knowledge</p></li><li><p style="">Proficient IT system knowledge</p></li><li><p style="">Must be able to pass a background check</p></li><li><p style="">Embody the Company <a href="https://www.crusoeenergy.com/about">values</a></p></li></ul><p style=""></p><p style=""><strong>Benefits: </strong></p><ul style=""><li><p style="">Industry competitive pay</p></li><li><p style="">Restricted Stock Units in a fast growing, well-funded technology company</p></li><li><p style="">Health insurance package options that include HDHP and PPO, vision, and dental for you and your dependents</p></li><li><p style="">Employer contributions to HSA accounts </p></li><li><p style="">Paid Parental Leave </p></li><li><p style="">Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability </p></li><li><p style="">Teladoc </p></li><li><p style="">401(k) with a 100% match up to 4% of salary</p></li><li><p style="">Generous paid time off and holiday schedule</p></li><li><p style="">Cell phone reimbursement</p></li><li><p style="">Tuition reimbursement</p></li><li><p style="">Subscription to the Calm app</p></li><li><p style="">Company paid commuter benefit; $50 per pay period</p></li></ul><p style=""></p><p style=""><strong>Compensation Range:</strong></p><p style="">Compensation will be paid in the range of $27 - $39/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers.
