We have a passionate, entrepreneurial and international team and we cannot wait to welcome you! </p><p>A Financial Controller you will oversee accounting activities and ensure that ledgers accurately reflect the cash flow and expenses.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Compile the subsidiary financial records and prepare the consolidated accounts (Balance sheet, Income statement, Cashflow) of all subsidiaries (Belgium, France, USA, Germany, Spain) under the local GAAP;</li><li>Ensure that our foreign subsidiaries adhere to audit requirements and recommendations;</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements for our foreign subsidiaries, providing insights into their financial performance and position;</li><li>Oversee the subsidiaries' accounts payable process, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payments;</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT and CIT returns for our foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations;</li><li>Assist in the audits conducted by external auditors;</li><li>Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department;</li><li><p>Implement new systems or procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. </p></li></ul> Your profile<br> <ul><li>3-5  years of overall combined accounting and finance experience;</li><li>Degree in Accounting / master's in Finance or 2 years experience with Financial statements (preparation and management) in the Netherlands;</li><li>Working knowledge of GAAP principles;</li><li>Experience with creating financial statements;</li><li>Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process;</li><li>Excellent accounting software user and administration skills;</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English;</li><li><p>Able to work with a 32 - 40 hour contract.</p></li></ul> Why us?<br> <ul><li>You can play a key role in the growth and expansion of our company; </li><li>We have an open culture where you get a lot of freedom and where taking ownership is valued;</li><li>We like to have you around, but you also get the opportunity to work remotely for up to 2 months per year;</li><li>Legendary lunches, drinks and other activities with colleagues;</li></ul>…And we obviously offer you the usual: a contract for 40 hours per week, 27 holiday days (based on full time employment), €500 contribution to set up/improve your home office and NS business card.<span style="color:rgb(255,255,255);"> #LI-EVGENIA</span>
