Summary of Role:

The HR Manager, APAC will manage and execute the full spectrum of HR activities for the Asia Pacific region with the support of the Corporate HR and Senior Management Team so that Mainstream RP’s mission, vision and goals can be accomplished by effectively and successfully organizing, coordinating and managing our people resource.


What you will do?

  • Manage full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, training & development.
  • Oversee and manage end to end MRP recruitment process, consisting of requisition of new positions, collaborating with recruitment agencies/website, administering psychometric tests, issuance of offer and employment contract, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Manage and advise managers and employees on interpretation of local HR regulations
  • Manage and advise on all HR-related process related to performance management, employee discipline and grievances, compensation and benefits, cessation and redundancies.
  • For entry to new markets, provide advice, manage, and operate all relevant HR local requirements with support of HR consultants.
  • Oversee end to end mobility transfer of employees which includes drafting of local work contract, advising on appropriate employee benefits and processing of work permit.
  • Analyse and maintain documentation of headcount planning and HR cost budgeting for all entities in APAC.
  • Manage and advice on all compensation benefits such as group healthcare policies, promotions, performance bonuses and salary increase by obtaining relevant market benchmarks.
  • Manage and run APAC payroll administration in tandem with our local payroll agents.
  • Engage with auditors annually to furnish relevant HR records, and action on findings of improvement.
  • Support Corporate HR to develop and maintain a talent management system to support succession needs of the business.
  • Support Corporate HR to develop the Training and Development process
  • Support Corporate HR to implement new global HR tools, systems, and processes.
  • Maintain up to date HR policies, personnel data, procedures to improve efficiencies and record keeping within the HR Department via the Bamboo system.
  • Ensure compliance of all HR policies and procedures
  • Produce clear, concise reports and presentations when required.


What we require?

  • Relevant HR Qualification 
  • 8 + years Generalist HR experience
  • Proven track record of human resources management, talent acquisition, and talent development 
  • In-depth knowledge of human resources best practices and desire to stay up to date with the latest trends in the market 
  • Understanding of labour legislation and where to access applicable laws and information 
  • High computer literacy on MS Office and Sharepoint. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Culturally adept  
  • Superior listening and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills. 
  • Attention to detail and an openness to working to tight deadlines while prioritising workload. 
  • Experience of working in global company will be an advantage. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality on all matters.
