Summary:

We are seeking a Compensation Analyst Sr. to help us attract, retain, and motivate the best talent by providing analysis, consultation, and insight for compensation matters. The Compensation Analyst Sr. will work cross-functionally and collaborate in planning, developing, implementing, communicating, and administering compensation programs and mechanics that support Powin’s overall global strategy. Your work will touch our short and long-term incentives as well as reward and recognition programs and most importantly how Compensation at Powin integrates into our Culture and Total Rewards Philosophy.

Job Details:

  • Design, implement and administer compensation programs, policies and procedures that are compelling, competitive, harmonized, well-communicated, locally compliant and equitable 
  • Provide compensation analysis, benchmarking, data modeling, reporting, and problem-solving in support of the company’s overall corporate compensation program
  • Apply advanced knowledge of compensation strategy to address complex problems and develop solutions
  • Research and analyze global market data, salary surveys, and compensation trends to drive creative programs
  • Analyze, document, and evaluate new and revised jobs to recommend appropriate grade level and FLSA status using market data and internal comparisons to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity
  • Provide continuous improvement of Powin’s job architecture including country salary grades and global pay ranges. Includes ongoing management of global job catalog and administration of compensation programs including annual merit and bonus programs in Powin’s Global HR System
  • Create policies and proactive procedures to ensure global compliance and the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation
  • Responsible for creating and sustaining effective communications regarding compensation programs and offerings; including compensation guidelines/toolkits and training materials for HRBPs and People managers
  • Participate in other Compensation, HR and business projects including integrations of M&A, as needed
  • Act as a subject matter expert, staying updated on best practices and recommending appropriate updates to company compensation programs
  • Utilize the Powin HRIS system to manage and maintain compensation data, job profiles, structures, compensation planning, etc.
  • Performs other duties or projects as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in compensation with increased responsibilities; and/or may substitute years of experience with other applicable experience including human resource and/or finance role experience
  • Knowledge in base pay and incentive plan design & administration
  • Experience using salary surveys and compensation planning tools such as Radford, CompAnalyst or PayFactors
  • Knowledge of HR Systems and/or Compensation Planning Software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience with FLSA and Pay Equity/Transparency legislation
  • Experience with international compensation a plus
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification preferred

Compensation for this position is commensurate with location, experience and relevant skills.​ The national Average Base Salary Range is $95,000-$128,000​.
