In light of further international expansion of its business, Parkwind is looking for a Electrical asset management engineer to reinforce our team located in Ostend. You will be part of the Operations & Maintenance team responsible for the operations and maintenance of the offshore wind farms within the Electrical Team with the main focus on the offshore high voltage station and HV cables.


Your role:

As Electrical asset management engineer together with the other Electrical asset management engineers and Electrical site supervisors, your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Coordinate and follow-up daily operations of the electrical installation together with subcontractors and the other Parkwind Teams;
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance, planned and unplanned repair projects;
  • Follow-up and assure that electrical systems have an excellent availability;
  • Update and check as-built documentation;
  • Knowledge sharing with the different stakeholders (e.g. other windfarms, internal customers, subcontractors, etc.);
  • Contract management of our installations;
  • Act as the Parkwind representative towards contractors during works – you will be the Parkwind ‘eyes and ears’ in the field;

Your Profile:

  • You are holding a master’s degree in electrical engineering/industrial engineering (or similar trough experience).
  • We are open to meet graduates as well as experienced candidates
  • Experience in an electrical environment is a plus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (spoken as well as written).
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills adapted to an international environment.
  • You have an adventurous mind-set and are not afraid to work offshore and on heights;
  • You possess a hands on practical skills combined with electrical knowledge.
