Corporate Finance Senior Analyst

We are looking for a Corporate Finance Senior Analyst to join our team. Purpose will be to analyse key business performance metrics and identifying internal organic performance improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will work with the Business Development teams to assess opportunities and provide a comprehensive investment decision recommendation. As someone with strong financial view and the ability to turn numbers into insights, you will be a pivotal team member expected to help maximize the company value.

 What you will do:

• The full range of responsibilities to Corporate Finance at Analyst level
• Analysing investment opportunities
• Assisting in the preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials such as Confidential Information Memorandums and due diligence for financing assignments
• Gathering public and private information through numerous sources for EV and renewables markets in Spain, France, Belgium, Portugal and other potential new markets
• Generating models for valuation and profitability metrics
  • Accountabilities Holder of all Models – from prospective projects to Ready-to-Bid and Ready-to-Build
  • Partnering with Origination, Capex/Technical, Finance and Permitting teams to ensure all inputs are correct
  • Completeness of Models (full costs are reflected on the model, Opex, taxes and tax attributes are correct) ensuring profitability metrics are consistent throughout all opportunities.
  • Decision support / Value creation. 
• Building company forecast models
• Analysing company performance on an absolute and relative basis
• Producing and maintaining various databases
• Risk and portfolio management.

What you need to master:

• 3-5 years’ experience with financial models in Big 4, Investment Banking or within the finance department
• Accounting knowledge, including cash flow statements
• Experience with M&A and/or Project Finance projects
• Advance Excel level
• Fluency in Spanish and English – both spoken and written, French/Portuguese will be a plus
• Commitment to team work
• Good communication skills
• Analytical capacity in detail
• Renewable Energy / Infrastructure sectors  experience will be a plus
