This role is pivotal in managing the tender phase, from preparing technical submissions to developing cost estimates and ensuring alignment with client requirements and project specifications.</b></p><h3></h3><p><b>Tendering and Design Management:</b></p><ul><li>Working on <b>I&amp;C + SCADA design</b> aspects for tendering large-scale desalination and water treatment projects.</li><li>Collaborate with bid teams to define <b>technical tender strategies</b>, ensuring design specifications align with client requirements and project goals.</li><li>Prepare <b>detailed technical documents, drawings, and schedules</b> as part of tender submissions, including procurement specifications for I&amp;C + SCADA systems.</li><li>Participate and present <b>Design &amp; Construction (D&amp;C) cost estimates</b> to support tender proposals, ensuring they are competitive and accurate.</li><li>Manage and maintain digital design documentation such as <b>drawing registers, transmittals,</b> and <b>change request documents</b> throughout the tendering phase.</li><li>Identify potential <b>technical innovations</b> and propose solutions to enhance the competitiveness of tender bids.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Procurement and Project Coordination:</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate closely with procurement teams to define <b>scoping, specification, and tendering</b> requirements for I&amp;C and SCADA systems.</li><li>Manage the coordination of <b>vendor selection</b> and prepare <b>requests for quotations (RFQs)</b> for I&amp;C equipment, ensuring alignment with tender requirements.</li><li>Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify <b>technical aspects</b> of the project during the tender phase.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of tender service agreements, ensuring all <b>technical and contractual clauses</b> are clearly defined.</li><li>Conduct site visits and participate in <b>technical meetings</b> to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and align tender strategies accordingly.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Project Delivery Support (Post-Tender):</b></p><ul><li>Upon tender award, collaborate with project teams to ensure a smooth handover from the tender phase to project delivery, ensuring that <b>design specifications</b> are accurately implemented.</li><li>Provide technical support during the <b>procurement, construction, and commissioning phases</b> to ensure equipment and processes meet the tender’s design specifications.</li><li>Resolve <b>non-critical technical issues</b> that arise during the tender and delivery phases by gathering and analyzing relevant information and offering solutions.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Client and Stakeholder Engagement:</b></p><ul><li>Maintain proactive communication with <b>clients and project partners</b> to ensure clarity on design and technical aspects during the tendering process.</li><li>Present tender documents and designs to clients and stakeholders, addressing any questions or concerns.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure continued collaboration and alignment on future projects</li></ul><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Required Skills and Competencies</b></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><h3><b>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</b></h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in a <b>technical tendering</b> or comparable field.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of <b>I&amp;C design</b> for desalination and water treatment processes.</li><li>Proven experience in preparing technical tender documents, including <b>I&amp;C + SCADA design</b>, specifications, and cost estimates.</li><li>Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively.</li><li>Solid understanding of <b>procurement processes</b> and the ability to liaise with vendors during the tendering phase.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and within a team to meet tight deadlines in the tendering process.</li><li>Willingness to travel interstate and overseas as required.</li><li>Spanish language skills are preferred but not essential.</li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b>Preferred Experience:</b></h3><ul><li>Experience working with <b>digital engineering platforms (e.g., BIM)</b> for tendering and design coordination.</li><li>Previous experience in <b>I&amp;C tendering</b> within desalination and water treatment sectors, with a focus on the preparation of cost estimates and technical proposals.</li></ul><p></p><p>Join ACCIONA and contribute to winning high-profile desalination and water treatment projects through your expertise in I&amp;C design and tendering.
