Position Description
The entry level QAQC Inspector works under the supervision of the Origis Site Representative for the duration of various long-term projects. The QAQC Inspector will sample and perform quality checks on our solar projects located throughout the United States and will have oversight of construction practices and workmanship of subcontractors for all phases of construction. Applicant needs a basic understanding of construction practices and procedures and ability to maintain a high level of project quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, adjustment and operation equipment
- Work safely around industrial equipment and machinery
- Record test results on electronic device
- Report and communicate test results internally
- Clean, maintain and calibrate testing equipment
- Assist in investigating technical problems
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
- Previous renewable energy facility experiences preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Work long hours in harsh environments
- Proficient in MS Office and computer skills
- Must have basic math skills
- Proactive in safety and works well in a team environment
Location: This position will be project based with no per diem or relocation (travel expenses will be reimbursed)
