📢 #CalEnergy is seeking an Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Specialist to join our Fuels and Transportation Division (FTD)!

This specialist role will help administer the Clean Transportation Program, which is investing more than $1 billion to accelerate the deployment of zero-emission transportation infrastructure and support in-state manufacturing and workforce training and development. The specialist will serve in the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure and Analysis Branch under the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Unit and will act as the Energy Commission’s project manager for agreements and work with the unit on the block grants to accelerate deployment of EV charging infrastructure.

The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Unit emphasizes large-scale and rapid deployment of infrastructure. It works with third-party implementers on rebate projects that play a key role in advancing standards, technology requirements and expediting the state’s ZEV and infrastructure transition.

✔️Salary Range: $6,512.00 - $8,093.00 per month, full benefits, PTO, and state pension plan!

Desirable Qualifications:

1) Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to barriers associated with electric vehicle charging infrastructure deployment.

2) Ability to create a project plan, set milestones, and meet deliverables with high-quality and accurate products.

3) Experience working independently and as part of a team.

4) Demonstrated knowledge of transportation and energy related sectors, including zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) and/or ZEV infrastructure deployment and planning.

5) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective writing and editing for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to draft public-facing material and content.

6) Experience in communicating observations, results, and recommendations verbally and in writing to management and outside stakeholders.

7) Experience managing contracts or agreements with multiple deliverables and competing timelines.
