Your mission
As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and leading all human resource functions within World Data Lab. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, learning and development, and fostering a positive workplace culture. You’ll work closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with the overall company strategy and ensure that our team thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all employees.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on HR-related issues, offering solutions for workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Oversee performance management systems, including goal setting, reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, ensuring they are clearly communicated and understood by all employees.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all HR practices.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and reward programs that attract and retain top talent.
  • Foster a company culture that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and personal development.
Your profile
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and Austrian employment law.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR processes in a fast-moving organization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English (German is considered a plus).

In accordance with Austrian labor law, we are obliged to inform applicants of the minimum salary for this position. The minimum gross monthly salary is 50,000.00 EUR, based on full-time employment (40 hours per week). Please note that the final salary offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, and may exceed the minimum amount stated.
