SCS Global Services provides ongoing training.Relevant Services/Standards<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)</li> <li>Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP)</li></ul>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Plan and carryout onsite assessments of aquaculture operations against the applicable standards.</li> <li>Engage with stakeholders to explain the audit process and record and address any comments provided.</li> <li>Audit Coordination</li> <li>Schedule and confirm audit date with client</li> <li>Prepare and send client audit plan according to protocols</li> <li>Book travel, hotel and transportation according to company policy, and submit expense reports</li> <li>Audit Services</li> <li>Adhere to all quality and code of conduct standards</li> <li>Conduct audits using applicable checklists, forms, and tools</li> <li>Maintain positive client relationships and respond to all client inquiries and concerns</li> <li>Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines</li> <li>Ensure thorough client records are maintained</li> <li>Attend trainings to maintain qualification to conduct audits; maintain training records</li> <li>Maintain up to date knowledge of applicable regulations and standards</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>BSc required in aquaculture, food science, environmental science, or related field.</li> <li>2+ years working experience in Feed Mill production or operations.</li> <li>Must be able to speak English and Spanish fluently.</li> <li>Valid passport.</li> <li>Driver’s license.</li> <li>Ability and interest in travel to remote locations. Auditing may require international travel and extensive hours in the field.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>Recent experience in 3rd party auditing to Aquaculture or similar standards.</li> <li>Demonstratable knowledge of relevant standards and auditing procedures.</li> <li>Documentation of successful training to ASC species standards.</li> <li>Evidence of lead auditor training course based on ISO 19011 principles.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul style="list-style-type:square;"> <li>This position is an office-based job primarily, with occasional travel to client sites. Ability to sit/stand at a computer station for 6+ hours/day, ability to travel via private/public transportation and carry luggage, ability to walk and stand for 2+ hours/day when auditing.
