About the role Burn is looking for a Warehouse Data Analyst in Malawi who will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to warehouse operations, such as inventory levels, stock movement, and order fulfilment. They will use this data to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and identify trends that support better decision-making.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an intricate understanding of BURN Operations and their impact on stock flow.
Develop and maintain an intricate understanding of warehouse-related entries in the NAV ERP System.
Share periodic inventory analysis reports to the warehouse manager and other members of BURN Senior Management as advised.
Contribute to system data accuracy by recommending improvements based on output analysis.
Continuously strive to improve analytical capabilities.
Guide data entry assistants accordingly towards achieving raw data accuracy.
Work as part of the Warehouse team when conducting inventory stock takes and cycle counts.
Foster and maintain effective integration between BURN Departments whenever called upon.
Work with the warehouse team leaders to ensure organized inventory floor space.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the warehouse manager and other members of the warehouse management team.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration or equivalent.
3 years data analysis experience in the FMCG environment
Good Communication skills
Fluency in English – both spoken and written
Good in MS Office skills especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
