Job Description – Thailand – Consulting Associate/Senior Consulting Associate (Social Sustainability & Human Rights)

Consulting Associate or Consulting Senior Associate will support ERM's Social and Sustainability Consulting Services with particular focus on project/client relationships management, technical community survey related to corporate social responsibility, technical calculation on social indicators, technical sustainability topic and consulting work. The position is full-time and will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will support delivery of Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change services to ERM clients in Thailand and Southeast Asia, in line with ERM purpose and values through:

Delivering projects across a range of sectors, clients and countries across Southeast Asia/ Asia Pacific. Areas of project focus include:

  • Sustainability and CSR strategy development and target-setting;
  • Development of stakeholder engagement plan and community survey;
  • Social Return on Invesment (SROI) analysis/ Impact valuation;
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of raw data from survey;
  • Development of corporate sustainability and ESG reports;
  • Analysis of sustainability risks, opportunities and trends for clients;
  • Gap analysis and benchmarking of client sustainability and social programs and performance;
  • Development and Implementation of Human rights due diligence (HRDD) process;
  • Supporting clients in accordance with international sustainability and CSR frameworks (e.g. GRI, B4SI, AA1000, DJSI CSA);
     

Project coordination and client management including overseeing deliverables and facilitating meetings; Actively contributing to effective project teams through collaboration; Collaborating with ERM sustainability and social technical community across the region; Be speaker, MC other event related to social activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree (Master's is a plus) in related field (social, business, finance, economics, sustainability, international development, public policy); 
  • Work experience in CSR, social survey, SROI, impact valuation, sustainability, ESG, HRDD or related fields is a plus;
  • Analytical skills, ability to think strategically, synthesize diverse information and data into key conclusions;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Thai, ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions;
  • Good in computer literacy specialty in MS office, SPSS, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator;
  • Ability to work independently, excellent self-organization and time management skills;
  • Ability to travel upcountry
