ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Manager leads, plans, executes, controls, and closes on renewable energy construction projects on behalf of Clēnera. You will break down project requirements into manageable, executable action items and drive them to completion while leading a project team at the project level. We have ambitious goals to reach by 2030, and you will be instrumental in Clēnera’s ability to achieve those goals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead project planning and development through responsibilities such as researching development (i.e. site walks, shade studies), due diligence processes, organizing data for development proposals, estimating project costs, stakeholder management, and review of contracts and documents.
- Ensure construction projects are completed according to requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality standards by developing, executing, and monitoring key constraints.
- Research and collaborate on potential development opportunities through feasibility studies, site walks, shade studies, technology, PVsyst, and related analysis.
- Responsible for project planning and preparation, to include diligence processes, permitting and fee management, estimating costs, organizing data/documents for development proposals, and assisting in documentation preparation in design phase.
- Maintain effective communication with all project team members, as well as ensure appropriate level of information sharing and involvement with senior leadership.
- Oversee subcontract management and scope development, and assure QA/QC processes with onsite construction managers are implemented.
- Complete project updates, budgets, and financial reports. Approve project payables and receivables. Prepare reports for project status and financial updates.
- Responsible for project construction through commissioning, project close out, and hand off to operations.
- Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
- Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, public administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management function.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility-scale renewables, preferably solar.
- Travel: About 25%
