About the Job

The Role

You will join our in-house creative marketing team and lead our visual brand elements and objectives including presentations, advertisements, proposals, exhibits, online presence, and more. This is a great role for someone with a solid understanding of design fundamentals looking to play a key role in a fast-growing PE-backed business. You will report to our Director, of Marketing and be based either in New York City, Ridgewood, NJ, or Los Angeles, CA. Key responsibilities include:

Ensure all design materials adhere to Scale’s brand guidelines and maintain a high level of quality and creativity
Create unique and visually appealing graphics for digital and print media
Collaborate with various internal teams to develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with our brand identity and goals
Create branded templates for various departments, including PowerPoint presentations, report templates and whitepaper templates
Assist with developing, shooting and editing both photo and video content
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results

The Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience as a graphic designer preferably in renewable energy or related industry
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects
Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with motion graphics 3D and video editing software is a plus
Knowledge of HTML / CSS and web design principles is a plus
Excellent communication organization and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and a passion for creativity
Bachelor’s degree in a design or related field (e.g., graphic design, visual communications, marketing, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
