<p><b><span>Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!</span></b></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><h1><span>Responsibilities:</span></h1><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p>•    Identify, design, develop and launch activities related to fiber spinning and web</p><p>formation. <br>•    Assist in new project development or raw material qualification. <br>•    Conduct time studies that may support findings.<br>•    Present project findings and help scope actions that can be taken beyond the</p><p>internship.<br> </p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><h1><span>Qualifications:</span></h1><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p>•    Sophomore and above undergraduate student or graduate student <br>•    Majors: Chemical engineering, Fiber and Polymer Science, Materials Science,</p><p>Mechanical Engineering (with materials focus), Textiles Technology, Textile</p><p>Engineering, Polymer Color Chemistry. Other majors are considered</p><p>based on experience. <br>•    GPA: Preferred 3.0/4.0 or above. Exceptions may be made based on experience</p><p>and institution. <br>•    Workplace safety training (e.g. OSHA 10 certification) <br>•    Fluency in Microsoft Office <br>•    Basic programming in VBA, familiarity with SQL and Access Familiarity with</p><p>statistical software packages (e.g. Minitab) <br>•    Good people skills (ability to work and communicate with individuals from all</p><p>levels of the organization) <br>•    Communication (written reports, verbal one-on-one, small group, and formal</p><p>presentation) <br>•    Project management (balancing multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities) <br>•    Ability to interpret technical documents and reduce to easily understood</p><p>instructions (e.g. converting an ASTM test method to a work instruction for lab</p><p>personnel) <br>•    Troubleshooting of lab equipment <br> </p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><span>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
