Job Summary

We are looking for an Engineering Co-Op student for our Product Design Department based in Oakville, Ontario. The incumbent must be enrolled in Mechanical.

Principal Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Realize some tasks related to 3D Printing and CAD Modeling.
• Realize product testing related to several projects.
• Administrative Support for the different ongoing projects.
• Printing, sorting, and distributing invoices.
• Digitizing and indexing invoices for all the IPEX Group entities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering OR an equivalent in Materials Science / Polymer Science
• Past co-op experience in a plastics industry / R&D environment would be highly preferred
• Knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Comfortable using computer tool and excellent typing speed on a numeric keypad
• Comfortable working with a high level of transactions (invoices)
• Strong analytical skills, energetic, ability to work as a team and under pressure, detail-oriented and resourceful
• Team Player with excellent communication skills to complement strong problem-solving abilities
• Driven, structured, results-oriented with a positive & professional attitude
