Key Responsibilities
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven person to join as Facilities Manager at our plant in Izmir.

• Responsible for non-production machinery and installations in the plant.
• Prepare annual preventive maintenance plan with assessment of necessary resources and means.
• Responsible for general administration topics related to the building such as canteen, cleaning and security
• Checking the causes of machine and plant downtime and determining the types of actions to be taken.
• Supervising the process of purchasing spare parts (mechanical and electrical), approving purchase orders.
• Handling contracts with possible external consulting companies
• Cooperation with the technology department, production department in the evaluation of preventive maintenance activities, when installing new equipment.
• Planning and monitoring the consumption of electricity, gas and water.
• Planning and implementation of necessary external infrastructure works.
• Representing the company before external regulatory bodies.
• Interacting with other departments (Logistics, Production, Purchasing, HR, Finance, IT, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance) to accomplish tasks.
• Requesting Management to initiate development and continuous improvement projects.
• Requesting Management to implement or develop management systems - motivational, information technology, quality, cost accounting, etc.

Education & Experience

• Mechanical or Electromechnical education background or relevant experience
• Experience in working with people at different levels in the organization
• Fluent in English and Turkish (min. B2)
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing plant
