Hitachi Energy has the perfect opportunity to join our Power2 Sales Trainee Programme. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the world of sustainability through Marketing and sales.
Within this role you’ll learn about the relevant business, offerings, service & product lines within the local sales unit, engage with the Local Sales Manager, supervisors, and mentors to develop your sales skills and knowledge of various sales management processes. Over a 12-month period you’ll have the opportunity to explore and widen your knowledge within Account Management, Channel Management and Digital and Service Sales.
You’ll contribute and participate in the account planning development, understand local account strategy and sales tactics for alignment with customer requirements for mid and long-term strategy and work closely with the local/strategic account manager to maintain contacts and learn to build the player map in Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and research local sales leads; support in maintain Salesforce pipeline, customer visit reports, understand regional / local market trends.
Build and maintain relationships establishing connections with new clients and nurturing existing ones within the local unit
Gain a broad and deep understanding of Hitachi Energy’s solutions, portfolio including digital, software, services.
Communicating with potential customers (internal and external) through calls, emails, or visits, often across different time zones.
Work towards sales key performance indicators (KPIs) as assigned by Local Sales Manager (LSM); working jointly with sales teams striving to meet or exceed budget targets for country.
Document sales activities: Keeping records of sales and order details, often using systems like Salesforce
Associate in activities to provide visibility to broad solutions applied across different segments like renewables, digital, and service.
Work on assigned projects/KPIs, focus on partnering with key stakeholders, and deliver on required tasks.
Proactively understand local marketing plan and actively participate in supporting the local team
Background:
Bachelor’s degree in industry Marketing and Sales, Sustainability Energy or similar.
Passion for sales and networking with internal and external customers.
You’ll need to be self-motivated and have an eagerness to learn
