Salary Range: $5,855.00 - $7,549.00 per month

This integral role will help cultivate a positive office culture and help our operations run smoothly. Administrative coordinators are the backbone of any organization, taking care of tasks big and small; we are looking for someone who is exceptionally organized, tech savvy, and has the ability to set priorities and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced exciting office!

This position will also be interacting with the public, staff, and internal stakeholders. Having excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering great customer service will be essential for success in this role. This position requires strong administrative and organizational skills, as some of the main duties include keeping tracking logs for items such as media inquiries, travel, and timekeeping. The Administrative Coordinator will also have the opportunity to participate in media-related activities, such as assisting with developing and releasing information including blog posts, articles, videos, and presentations.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  3. Ability to effectively screen and manage public inquiries.

  4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability serve as a liaison between stakeholders.

  5. Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex information for reporting purposes.

  6. Proficient in independently researching technical programs and drafting comprehensive responses.

  7. Experience in developing and disseminating various communication materials and reports.

  8. Familiarity with project management tools and maintaining tracking systems.

  9. Experience with state procurement and travel systems.

  10. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and commitment to customer service

  11. Experience with Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and Planner.

  12. Interest in energy and climate change issues a plus.
