ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Coordinator provides collaborative support to the Construction Project Management team to ensure successful execution of utility-scale solar farm and energy storage system projects. You are responsible for administrative tasks associated with the planning and coordination of the projects, and directly partnering with internal and external partners to meet identified milestones and goals. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Coordinate and support construction project management activities like invoicing, contracting, scheduling by communicating with internal and external partners/vendors.
  • Support contract compliance regarding review of terms and conditions to schedules, payables and receivables, tasks, and related commitments.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to facilitate status updates, change orders, and other contract related services or schedules.
  • Provide support of internal review of contracts and document approval processes.
  • Help prepare project status reports and financial updates for multiple Project Managers.
  • Lead project status meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including owning agenda and meeting minutes.
  • Provide daily support to team members including complex and dynamic calendar management for internal and external meetings, processing invoices, and organizing data for proposals.
  • Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
  • Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial construction environment.
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
  • Skills/Attributes:
    • Ability to gain basic knowledge of how a solar facility is designed and structured between PV, BESS, and substations.
    • Develop a basic understanding of the financial model and how we use it as a company.
    • Basic understanding of the overall EPC Agreement structure, including our obligations due to contractors.
    • Foundational knowledge of the key pillars of project management: cost, schedule, and scope.
    • Ability to ensure PPA, Loan Agreement, and IRA compliance like collecting and tracking documents, certificates, and notices for domestic content, apprenticeships, etc.
    • Ability to effectively capture meeting minutes between internal and external parties, and report out deliverables based on those minutes.
    • Self-motivated to work through complex problems and competing priorities, including a high level of detail and organization.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
