Position Overview
The Maintenance Administrator helps oversee all clerical aspects of our maintenance department. The Maintenance Admin helps with reporting, invoices, employee pay, vehicle history, monthly production reports, etc.
 
**This is a remote position, but the person must be located within the Eastern US. Our pay for this position is 60,000/year.**
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares timesheets for all Maintenance Department employees; records lost time for Maintenance Department; sorts and distributes department payroll checks; researches, reviews, and corrects errors relative to employees’ earnings. 
  • Prepares invoice approvals, purchase requisitions, and limited purchase orders
  • Maintains vehicle history records, unit change records, tire records, and brake lining records; posts daily mileage of vehicles along with fuel and oil consumed.
  • Prepares monthly reports of the balance of fuel and oil consumed and tire mileage data.
  • Prepares monthly production reports, including defects, road calls, brake adjustments, bus schedules, mechanics available for work, and inspections
  • Researches and compiles data/information for preparation and tracking of the department's operating budget.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information. Performs other duties as required.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, is required.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • 2-4 years of related clerical experience with some knowledge of statistical reporting and computers
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
  • General knowledge of office equipment
  • Good written and oral communications skills - Basic math skills - Ability to analyze data and present data clearly and concisely in both report and graphical form
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions, short correspondence and memos Travel requirement (as a percent): <10% for occasional meetings.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
