The role
We are seeking an experienced AMI, TMS & IT Expert to join our team for a significant power and energy project based in Hyderabad, Pakistan. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective management and integration of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Telemetry Management Systems (TMS), and IT solutions throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in AMI implementation, TMS integration, and IT project management, particularly within the power and energy sectors. This position will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize project performance and ensure the successful delivery of technological solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) to enhance energy management and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and maintain robust IT solutions that support project objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with project goals and timelines.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies that optimize project performance and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to AMI and TMS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AMI and TMS systems promptly.
- Provide training and support to project staff on the use of AMI, TMS, and related IT tools.
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, system performance, and recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to AMI, TMS, and IT systems.
With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. B.Sc/BE in Electrical Engineering with any advance degree)
- Minimum 08 years of relevant experience including deployment of modern technology and automation equipment for electric utility.
- Certification in Reform Management will be given advantage.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
