The role
In line with our ongoing growth and success in securing and executing major urban transport infrastructure projects across Pakistan, we invite expressions of interest for the position of Team Leader – Transport for our urban transport infrastructure project based in Karachi Pakistan. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to some of the country's most significant urban transport initiatives while supporting SMEC's ambitious growth objectives.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline (e.g. B.Sc/BE in Civil/Transportation Engineering)
- Minimum 15 years of senior-level management experience in urban transport infrastructure construction projects.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leading role specifically focused on Metro line and BRT projects.
- Proven expertise in project management, contract and claim management, and supervision of works
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required
- Familiarity with local working conditions and legislation is beneficial
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
